Tracie Stafford of Elk Grove on Dec. 6 takes an oath for her candidacy in the California Assembly’s District 9 primary election. Her husband Bryan stands with her at the Sacramento County Voter Registration and Elections office. The nomination period for next March’s primaries ended last week.
